Welcome to the

1

The largest team handball elimination tournament in North America.

What is the GLCC?

The GLCC is a tournament launching in 2020 as a revenue-focused competitive tournament, under USATH sanctioning protocols, centering on a Final Four event in April 2021. The GLCC is open to established handball teams in states and Canadian Provinces surrounding the Great Lakes.

Compelling

With each round of games limited to one game per day and streamed to an internet audience, the GLCC will bring out the best in each of its teams.

Cohesive

The GLCC will allow teams to strengthen bonds on and off the court while gaining the opportunity for focused games.

Competitive

Teams will receive initial matchups based on locality, with increasing competitiveness in each round. The goal, however, is the Final Four.

Our Goals

Launching in 2020, the GLCC will strive to serve the teams and athletes in Eastern Canada, the Midwest, and the Northeast regions. The GLCC will — on launch — become the largest elimination tournament operating exclusively in North America, and a possible USATH Elite Division Wildcard event.

As a revenue focused event, the GLCC will allow clubs greater financial independence and flexibility, while providing a meaningful competitive opoortunity during the season.
